Intro;
Here's 2 ways to play it;

Version 1;
This is a simple way to play the intro, but Big Country never played it live. They
would just play the chords.

  D        A  D  G         A  D  A  A   D        A  D  G     A  D
E|---12--------------------------12--------12---------------------12h14p12-------|
B|15----15-14-15-10s12-12--14-15----14--15----15-14-15-10s12-12-15---------14-15-|
G|-------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|-------------------------------------------------------------------------------| Play twice
A|-------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|-------------------------------------------------------------------------------|

Version 2;
Try this with a pitch shift of + 1 octave. It's rather difficult to play but it
makes an interesting noise. A third way to play this, if you have a guitar with
a two octave neck, is to play version 2 an octave higher but without the pitch
shift. This is even more difficult to play.

D         A       D    G      A   D A  A
Stand up, hold my hand I hope you understand

D          A       D      G      A   D
Here where time is still, I walk the hill

D           A        D  G            A D A A
Stand here, close to me here for all eternity

D         A      D     G      A   D
I wait as others will, I walk the hill

  G                D
I held you then, I held you still

  A             D
I held you as I always will

G               D                A          D
You can have my heart to fill as I walk the hill

D         A       D    G      A   D A  A
Stand up, hold my hand I hope you understand

D          A       D      G      A   D
Here where time is still, I walk the hill

D           A        D  G            A D A A
Stand here, close to me here for all eternity

D         A      D     G      A   D
I wait as others will, I walk the hill

    G             D
I’m not strong as I am told

   A                    D
It feels too long since I was bold

    G              D                 A          D
But you can lie in sheets of gold if I walk the hill

    G              D
You touch me and I understand

   A              D
We only write our names in sand

    G                 D                A          D
But I can stand where legend stands if I walk the hill

Guitar solo;

To make this easier to tab and read, I've used the following shorthand;
9 = 9th fret
0 = 10th fret
1 = 11th fret
2 = 12th fret
3 = 13th fret
and so on...

  Bm      D           G     A         Bm      D           G      A
E|-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|0s2-2-5-2h5p2-----------0-2-0h2p0---0s2-2-5-2h5p2------------0-2-0h2p0---|
G|-------------4-1--9h1-1-----------1---------------4-1--9h1-1-----------1-|
D|-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|-------------------------------------------------------------------------|

For this part, the same shorthand applies except 9 = 19th fret;

  Bm      D           G     Bm         Bm        D          G     A
E|------------------------2-4-2h4p2----------4-7-4h7p4----------7-9-7h9p7---|
B|------5-7-5h7p5---2h5-5-----------5--5h7-7-----------7--7h9-9-----------9-|
G|4h6-6-----------6---------------------------------------------------------|
D|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|

For this part, the same shorthand apples except;
9 = 19th fret
0 = 20th fret
1 = 21st fret
2 = 22nd fret
